This year's summer rains are starting to relax as is the author of this blog. Having recently returned from the Cayman Islands, I can attest that it is never, ever "really" humid here in the northeast. The Caymans however have the benefit of an ever-present easterly breeze (the "trade" winds that helped blow ships from continent to continent in the early days of "trade"). Temperatures went to 90 and no lower than 80 on a daily basis. That's damn hot and humid! Let me tell you: with crystal clear water that's a virtual aquarium of brightly colored fish and coral and every color of blue water imaginable, I would stay there forever.
It's hot and humid. Summer has finally arrived. Take some time to relax and enjoy this abbreviated season before the next seasonal corner arrives in a month or so.
